Do you base your decisions at work on data? Or, on the contrary, do you feel that data would help you work better? These are precisely the questions addressed by a nationwide data collection effort aimed at mapping how municipalities and cities in the Czech Republic work with data in management, planning, and day-to-day administration. By "data," we mean all records—numerical, textual, digital, and paper. In short, everything that can help in informed decision-making – from population records to energy consumption measurements and participation outputs. Your experience is crucial to us.

Questionnaire contains questions tailored to different sizes and capacities of offices – in some cases, we therefore ask for your patience with questions that do not directly concern you.. Nevertheless, your response is valuable to our research and we greatly appreciate it.

Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 20 minutes. It is best completed by the person responsible for data management in your municipality – whether in the area of development, digitization, administration, or analytics. The questionnaire was compiled based on suggestions from project partners and prepared by a team from CTU UCEEB in collaboration with STEM/MARK and it can be completed by October 10, 2025..
