Project CESMOD is aimed at supporting the implementation of the SMART concept in the Czech Republic. Our aim is to create a theoretical and methodological framework for the effective implementation of SMART solutions at the local and regional level, to promote innovation and improve the quality of life of the population. The project includes the creation of a data and information platform, the support of innovation brokers in municipalities and regions and the SMART Academy educational programme. We work with leading universities, experts and institutions to contribute to the sustainable development of our cities and municipalities.

It consists of 10 partners. The project team consists of experts from universities, research institutions, innovation agencies and the application sector, who focus on interdisciplinary research and the implementation of SMART solutions. By collaborating across academia and applications, the team connects theoretical knowledge with practice and promotes innovation in public administration and regional development.
We work with municipalities, cities and ministries that have expressed interest in using the project outputs to develop SMART solutions and increase regional resilience. Thanks to this cooperation, we can better take into account their needs and ensure the practical application of the results.
